Adult Cardiac Masterclass: All Things Arch and Beyond | Recorded at the AATS 105th Annual Meeting

To present the modern-day management of the aortic arch, and descending and thoracoabdominal aortic pathologies..  This course also looks at open and endovascular treatment options and is illustrated using video, evidence-based algorithms, as well as group panel discussion.

Learning Objectives

  1.  Learn about current approaches to treat the aortic arch and the aortic segments distal to it in the chest and abdomen. Help appreciate methods and techniques that achieve the best short- and long-term outcomes.
  2. Discussion of how these treatment strategies may be used to promote adoption into one’s own surgical practice and how to overcome possible barriers to adoption.
