Structural Heart Masterclass: Mitral Tricuspid Valve | Recorded at the AATS 105th Annual Meeting

Course Description: We have designed the course in structural heart to involve the clinical outcomes and/or translational research related to the diagnosis, natural history, patient selection, therapy or new innovation related to the cardiac valves.  This comprises both general cardiology, interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery.

This session included the following presentations:

  • TMVR updates and Evolution: From Neanderthal to Caveman to What's Next?
  • Clinical Trials between TEER and MV Repair: What does Equipoise Really Mean?
  • Panel Discussion and Case 1: DMR In an Intermediate Risk PT with Some Calcium
  • Role of Surgeon in Mitral-Tricuspid Structural Procedures
  • Complex Valve Scenarios - How Do We Evaluate What is Best for Patients?
  • Do We Need a Trial of TTVR/r vs. Tricuspid Valve Surgery? - How to Move Forward with Lower Risk TR Patients

Learning Objectives
