Structural Heart Masterclass Session | Recorded at the AATS 104th Annual Meeting

Presentations focused on highlighting strategies for better outcomes for structural interventions.  Strategies to decrease TAVR complications like pacemaker, paravalular leak and patient prosthesis mismatch will be addressed in different presentations. Course will also go over transseptal puncture techniques which are critical for mitral valve and left atrial appendage interventions.

This session includes the following presentations:

  • Accurate TAVR Deployment for PPM Reduction
  • Same Day Discharge
  • Assessment of Hemodynamics and Optimization
  • Paravalvular Leak (PVL) Assessment, Mitigation and Management
  • Optimal Trasseptal Puncture
  • Step by Step Difficult Mitral Transcatheter Edge-to-Edge Repair (M-TEER)

Learning Objectives

Purpose (Desired Learning Outcome)

Following this activity, learners will be able to assess the pros and cons to innovative approaches to intramural coronary anomalies and creation of a pulmonary valve from the right atrial appendage and select the best complex congenital valve reconstruction for different patient scenarios.
